About us

Mediation and arbitration committees

They are composed of a chairman and of two members who are chosen among the CMAP’s institutional partner representatives (Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Paris Île-de-France region, Commercial Court of Paris, the Paris Bar and the French National Association of Chartered Accountants)

The committees are responsible for:

  • examining the applications of third parties wishing to provide their assistance to the centre;
  • appointing third parties in proceedings pending before the CMAP;
  • managing issues that might occur during proceedings and that are pending before the centre (i.e., challenge by a third party).

The mediation committee

It is currently chaired by Ms Anne OUTIN-ADAM, Former Director of the Legislative and Legal Policy Department at the Paris IDF Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The arbitration committee

It is currently chaired by Mr. Daniel MAINGUY, Professor at the Faculty of Law of Montpellier, Arbitrator.

The Scientific college

The Scientific College is made up of a chairman (Professor Denis Mouralis), counsellors from the Centre and qualified individuals

It aims to:

  • propose to the Board any changes or adaptations of the mediation and / or arbitration rules in respect to the practice and the evolution of law or case law.
  • contribute to the publication of scientific articles in the field of mediation and arbitration.
  • participate in the selection of scientific topic events and conferences organised by the CMAP.

The CMAP team

The CMAP has been relying on a team of lawyers and advisers since its creation in 1995. It thus offers high quality services, within short deadlines and with an assistance combining confidentiality and efficiency.

The proceedings are supervised by our committees, which guarantee their professionalism and independence.
